History

Cedarcrest Academy was founded in 1997 by a group of Twin Cities parents and business people. The school was the first independent, private school teaching a Catholic curriculum in suburban Minneapolis, and has demonstrated success in fulfilling the mission of providing the highest quality education to our students and to contribute to their formation as Christian leaders. A courageous vision, committed families, superior academic achievement, and a strong family focused faith community sets Cedarcrest Academy apart from other private schools in the area.

From an initial enrollment of 11 students in 1997, Cedarcrest Academy has grown to serve over 170 students and is currently located in its second location off Bass Lake Road in Maple Grove.
