Admissions Process
The Cedarcrest Academy application process includes the following steps:
- Complete the Application Form. After you have completed the application, please return it by mail to Cedarcrest Academy with the $100 non-refundable application fee and $200 book fee. This begins the application process. All applications are held until the student’s file and fees are complete before review by the admissions committee.
- Send in the Request for Transcript Form. Please send the form to your child’s current school. This is not necessary for pre-k and kindergarten applicants. These records along with the application will be reviewed before an interview will be scheduled.
- Personal Interview. Once the application and all records have been received you will be contacted to participate in an interview including parents and the student.
- Assessment Testing. Your child will take an assessment test designed to analyze his or her academic skills and help to ensure
correct grade placement. You will be contacted regarding the scheduling of the test.
- Notification of Acceptance. Following the interview, assessment test and record review, you will be notified by letter of your child’s acceptance status to Cedarcrest Academy. If accepted you will receive all necessary information to complete your child’s file and prepare for the academic school year.
