A Hole-in-One Winner at this year's Cedarcrest Academy Golf Classic
A chill was in the air in the morning, but as the golfers started to arrive for the 11th Annual Cedarcrest Academy Golf Classic, the sun peeked out from behind the clouds, and the day became a picture perfect autumn day. This year’s Cedarcrest Academy Golf Classic was held at Sundance Golf Course in Dayton. It was a spectacular day to be out on the course not only enjoying a fantastic day of golf but also fun games along the way. It was on hole #2 that John Dykoff drove his ball a 189 yards for a hole-in-one. Mr. Dykoff not only had bragging rights, but went home with a full set of Nike Golf Clubs. Not only that, but his foursome were the winners of the day, winning tickets for the Timberwolves, as well as a $50 gift certificate. The evening ended with a delicious dinner and the presentation of additional prizes. It made for a great way to be with colleagues and friends. This year’s golf classic was a success in helping to support Cedarcrest Academy and their mission in providing students with the highest quality of education and forming Christian leaders of tomorrow.
