Life of Grace
The sacraments are the heart of Cedarcrest Academy. As the 'source and summit' of our faith, students and families gather as a community for a weekly all school Mass. Students and faculty also have the opportunity to receive God's grace and forgiveness in the Sacrament of Reconciliation. The Sacraments are made possible at our school through the generous support of local clergy.
Flowing from the sacraments, our students grow in grace through prayer. Prayer is an essential expression of our faith. Each morning our school gathers as a community offering a decade of the rosary. Following the rosary, our students learn how they might live holy lives through lessons about the saints. Prayer is incorporated throughout the day offered at the beginning of classes, activities, and before meals.
Charity is the principle virtue of our school, it is the clearest expression of our faith. In a culture of virtue, our students are encouraged to act charitably toward one another.
