Cedarcrest Academy, a Catholic school located in Maple Grove, offers an exceptional Christ-centered education focused on academic excellence for every student from Pre-Kindergarten through eighth grade. Cedarcrest Academy’s mission is to provide the educational foundation and personal character skills required to prepare our young people to be moral, spiritual, and civic leaders for the 21st century.

Our commitment to complete excellence is accomplished by our faculty daily engaging the four aspects of the whole child: intellectual, character, spiritual, and apostolic. Fostered in an environment of charity, we seek to teach, educate, and form the whole child in a vibrant community of Christian learners. Cedarcrest Academy believes that each of its students is created in the image of Christ, of inestimable value and a person capable of making a real contribution.

At Cedarcrest Academy our students achieve high academic standards. The curriculum is robust and challenging; rich in content. Teachers work with each student to achieve his or her potential and use teaching methods that are sound, effective, and proven. Teachers strive to know the strengths, weaknesses, interests, and personality of their students. Utilizing a comprehensive, standards based curriculum, our students routinely score in the top 90-95% of the nation on standardized tests. Students are taught various courses of study from traditional subjects to technology, foreign language, music, and art. Cedarcrest Academy believes that a personal relationship with Jesus Christ is essential for fulfillment and happiness so the Catholic faith is taught daily at every grade level, and the Sacraments of the Church are offered weekly.

Cedarcrest Academy students are taught that faith finds full expression through service. As a result, they are encouraged to be serious Christians who, because of their faith-filled commitment, are responsible and involved citizens in their communities. Daily, the students are involved in acts of charity both within the school community as well as expanded to charities around the world. Most fundamentally, we aim to help our students discover and develop their talents. Our history shows that alumni will use these talents to serve with distinction and charity.

Cedarcrest Academy has two campuses in Maple Grove: the Kinder Campus, (PreK-3 through K)  and the Main Campus (1st – 8th).  Come see why so many parents from across the metropolitan area send their children to Cedarcrest Academy.
